Yoga Therapy, Embodyment (R), Yoga Therapy for Treating Pain: Private
Owner and instructor, Ann Katz, is a Registered Svaroopa(R) yoga teacher, and was based in Fairfield County, Connecticut at the 700 hour level. Ann is now based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is certified as a Yoga Therapist, treating pain, an Embodyment(R) Therapist and Svaroopa(R) Vidya Meditation teacher. She has been in business for 22 plus years. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Ann works with all clients including those experiencing chronic or life-challenging illnesses. Ann brings to her work a spirit of compassion and love, along with many years of human relation experience within the business and not-for-profit communities.
All of these sessions are one-on-one. All of these sessions are one-on-one. An assessment is taken and then specific breathing technique and yoga poses are implemented for the individual's situation. Conditions that are managed this way include: back pain, sciatica, scoliosis, anxiety, fibromyalgia, migraines, allergies, arthritis, other chronic conditions.

Svaroopa Vidya (R) Meditation
Meditation is the inner experience of your own blissful essence, called svaroopa in Patnajali's yoga sutras. The way you get there is quieting your mind, which is easy when you use the ancient methodologies that Ann teaches in this course. This course makes meditation easy and accessible for you, as well as provide you with the understanding of what you are doing and why. You learn how to handle any difficulties and inner obstacles you may encounter. In three (2) hour sessions, you go from the beginning stages to being an experienced meditator in 3 weeks.
